Cookie Policy

The short version: we don't set cookies. Our analytics provider is cookieless. There's no consent banner because there's nothing to consent to.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember information across page loads — login state, preferences, ad-tracking identifiers, and similar. Cookies are the most common mechanism websites use to track behavior across pages and sessions.

Cookies we set on remodelmath.com

None. The site itself does not set any cookies under normal operation. The calculator holds your inputs in your browser's working memory only (React component state); when you close the tab, that state is discarded. We do not write to your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage. See the Privacy Policy for the full data inventory.

Third-party cookies

Effectively none, with one possible exception:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (our analytics provider): cookieless by design. Aggregates page views, referrer, browser, and country at the edge without setting any cookies in your browser. We do not see individual visitors, sessions, or any identifying information. Cloudflare's product documentation.
  • Cloudflare bot mitigation cookies (`__cf_bm`, possibly `cf_clearance`): set only when our hosting platform's edge layer detects suspicious traffic and challenges your browser to verify it's not a bot. These cookies expire after the challenge resolves (typically within minutes to hours) and are scoped to the security challenge itself, not to behavior tracking. You'll only encounter these if you trigger bot-detection (unusual request patterns, VPN/proxy use, etc.).

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, any retargeting pixel, any advertising network cookie, any cross-site tracking cookie, any third-party form-handler cookie, or any social-media tracking pixel.

Opting out

Because the site sets no cookies and our analytics provider is cookieless, there's no opt-out mechanism we provide — there's nothing to opt out of. If you'd like to opt out at the browser level (which protects you across all sites you visit), most modern browsers offer "tracker blocking" or "do not track" preferences; setting these doesn't change anything about how this site behaves, but it provides a consistent baseline across the rest of the web.

If this changes

At some point we may add Google Analytics 4, a phone-routing service, or another third-party tool that sets cookies. When we do, this page will update with the full cookie inventory (name, purpose, duration, third party, opt-out URL) and we'll add a consent banner where required. The last-updated date at the top reflects the most recent change. We'll also note material changes at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
